FOUNDER'S NOTE

Vacation & Publication Announcement
BLFN began its existence as Business Leasing News almost 6 1/2 years ago. Since its inception, Patton Boggs and the BLFN Team have provided free intellectual capital to what began with a few subscribers, but is now read by thousands of people around the world. BLFN has enjoyed great interest and praise from you, our readers. We sincerely thank each of you and appreciate your kind acknowledgement of the value BLFN delivers to you. Now, for the first time, the BLFN Team will take a break during the month of June. BLFN will then return as a bi-monthly publication.
We have been fortunate that many readers have become friends and clients of Patton Boggs. Other readers have referred us to businesses that have become acquainted with or have retained the firm. We trust that this tradition of readers becoming clients and referring us business will continue. We also welcome the opportunity to meet and discuss how BLFN content can be converted into revenue for you.
With more than 600 lawyers and professionals, Patton Boggs delivers entrepreneurial, solution-driven services. The firm has a national presence in major business transactions, including leasing, secured transactions, oil and gas law, real estate, transportation law, including business aviation, infrastructure development and finance, project finance, and alternative energy projects (with emphasis on wind and solar energy). We have especially unique attributes in our ability to provide services under Shari’ah law and in public policy matters.
For BLFN to provide even greater value, we would like to increase our interaction with you. Please call any of my colleagues or me, or e-mail any of us. As a friend or client of the firm, we would be pleased to consider co-writing an article with you in BLFN. Share your ideas with us and BLFN’s readers! It is an exciting yet troubling time in the U.S. We face the challenges of a slower economy, continued disruptions in our credit markets and political change. Don’t just sit back. Don’t wait for the good times to roll again. Seize the moment – and, by all means, let us shape our futures together!
Thanks again for reading BLFN. We will see you again next month for the July – August issue.
